Built on a slope below a picturesque kopje in south central Serengeti, Pioneer Camp is ideally situated as a base for game drives across southern Serengeti’s vast open plains. The 
12 tented rooms have en-suite facilities and are designed to evoke the very best of an era long-gone in fun ways while ensuring all of today’s modern comforts, including complimentary Wi-Fi.
A dining tent hosts the Camp’s guests for both breakfast and dinner, while luncheons are taken either in the Camp or in the bush. Breakfast starts with a selection of fruit, cereals and freshly baked pastries followed by a choice of creatively designed hot dish’s that are based on traditional English classics. When served in camp, lunch is a 3 course affair while dinner is a 4 course meal including a soup, starter, main and desert.
